#Flock is a fun project developed by the team of Twitter UK and Berg Cloud. It is actually a cuckoo clock that is powered by the social networking site, Twitter. The #Flock reacts in different ways on every reply, retweet and new follower. The project is the first to make use of Berg’s Cloud development kit and it shows how the designers connect everyday objects to the internet wirelessly with this Cloud.
The bad news about this cuckoo clock with minimalist contemporary aesthetics is that it won’t be available for purchase to the general public as it will be given out to trusted twitter partners. However, we would love to see someone makes one such tiny cute object that talks to the internet in an innovative way for purchase.
