Melbourne-based YouTube sensation and pancake artists Tiger Tomato has been working hard to create a new relation between food and art by creating edible food art in form of pancakes. Working with the name of Tiger Tomato, the father and son duo has created many kids movie character into pancakes. Using pancake batter dyed with food coloring, the duo posts 1-2 minutes video tutorials to document the complete cooking process.
The duo has canvassed famous cartoon characters like Homer Simpson and Simpson family, Sonic the Hedgehog and Pikachu into yummy pancakes. Definitely, the pancakes take more time to cook in comparison to normal ones, but all depends on colors used and complexity of design. The duo, who is following their heart, loves to create edible food art and strongly believes that it is all about awakening your inner Picasso and having patience and steady hands.
