The tiny house movement is growing rapidly in Europe, driven by a multitude of factors, including rising housing costs, a desire for sustainable lifestyles, and a need for alternative housing. Whatever the case, the market is gaining momentum, leading to a whole new bunch of manufacturers making their presence felt. One such manufacturer that has caught our eye is Craft House, which operates across Poland, Austria, and Ireland. Having previously covered a few of Craft House’s tiny house models, we were so impressed by their layouts that we decided to explore more of their designs. This eventually led us to discover the Francoise tiny house on wheels.

The mobile home measures 27.5 feet long, 8.2 feet wide, and 13.1 feet high, offering significant space and comfort within its mobile design. Akin to its Katrin tiny house, Francoise’s comes poised on a double-axle trailer.

The exterior combines thermo-pine cladding with elegant aluminium standing-seam roofing, while interiors can feature Scandinavian spruce, customizable slats, decorative panels, or natural wood finishes. Not to mention, the double-glazed plastic windows that enhance natural light and insulation.

Inside, the tiny house includes a living room, small enough to be furnished with a two-seater sofa or armchair. Adjacent to the living room is a fully equipped kitchenette featuring a sink, induction hob, oven, refrigerator, and durable plywood cabinetry. A little ahead is the bathroom equipped with a glass-enclosed shower, toilet, washbasin, electric radiator, water heater, mirror, and ventilation fan.

The biggest highlight of the tiny home, however, is a room with a separate entrance that adds an extra layer of versatility to the dwelling. It can be utilized as a home office, yoga room, additional sleeping area, or whatever a dweller prefers.

The tiny house also includes a loft that sleeps two people. Despite its compact dimensions (compared to tiny homes in the US and Australia), the total usable area feels generous thanks to smart vertical design and a gable roof that creates an airy atmosphere. Similar to most mobile homes under the Craft House catalogue, the tiny house garners power via a standard RV-style hookup.

Priced at $50,000 (212,000 PLN), the Francoise tiny house offers excellent value for a turnkey mobile home. Buyers can customise interiors extensively, configuring the space to individual needs, whether for full-time living, weekend getaways, or rental purposes.
