French designer Philippe Starck has made this dream come true by creating a modular lounge system dubbed ‘MyWorld’, which offers a comfy seat along with a hi-tech system that links us with the cyber world. The entire system comprises of a sofa unit with shelves and cabinets for comfortable seating, and electrical re-charging station, a USB charger and a Duracell Powermat wireless charger to let the user have gadgets charged all the while.
You can personalize the MyWorld system according to your preferences. For the seating you can choose from a two or three seater sofa, a chaise lounge or a large cushioned seat with two large drawers. The multifarious creator has upholstered the seating options with feather padding for total comfort and you can also combine additional pads for more comfort. The upholsters are also available in 100% natural leather and fabric. ‘My world’ lounge system by Philippe Starck will be launched by Cassina at the Salone del Mobile in Rho Fiera from April 9th to the 14th, 2013.
