Automotive furniture has been our weakness here on HomeCrux. Given the nature of things, it was hard to pass by the luxurious Glamour Beetle armchair. The eccentric show of love for automobiles is designed by Andrew Colombo and Linda Assandri for ZAC Glamour Design. Designed using an actual Beetle MY 1968, the $12,800 Glamour Beetle armchair is completely handmade, measures L 150 x W 70 x H 120, is embellished with Swarovski crystals and can be customized to the user’s taste, making it as exclusive as you are.

For the Glamour Beetle, real VW Beetle’s genius is magnified with an upholstered seat which can be made in choice of leather, fabric or faux leather. You can pick solid wood finish in silver or gold leaf or in real gold and silver, depending on how royal you want to feel sitting in your Beetle chair. For the elite, who want the headlights to be functional, ZAC has included LED lights. Video after the jump.
