When it comes to unique building architecture, tech company Google knows how to add a futuristic touch to a practical building design. However, the company is receiving mixed responses on the internet for its latest Google Campus Map blueprint that was unveiled recently by Heatherwick Studio.

In collaboration with BIG, Heatherwick Studio has created a tent-like design for the campus. The unique thing about this design is that it resembles a giant armadillo resting in the middle of trees and concrete buildings. The animalistic Google campus has been designed keeping eco-friendly approach in mind, hence features several solar panels on the rooftop. Plus, plenty of trees will be planted around this bizarre building structure.

A few weeks ago, we even mentioned about Apple’s “flying spaceship” headquarter design that’s equally out-of-this-world and also equipped with many eco-friendly features to reduce carbon footprint. Although both Google and Apple have presented futuristic building designs with environmentally-friendly features, but many people on the internet are considering Google Campus Map as environmentally degraded one.

However, some people are even liking this design due to its unique armadillo-like appearance. Some have even pointed out the Google Campus map design as the company’s “immaturity”. Now, we’re waiting for the company’s views about these mixed responses and how they’re planning to make this architectural oddity combat environmental issues.
