It’s been a while since we covered any Australian tiny house on wheels. The configuration of abodes is what distinguishes Australian tiny homes from European and North American micro-dwellings. European models are generally small in size, while American ones can measure as long as 40 feet and above in length. Australia-based tiny house companies, on the other hand, maintain the equilibrium between the two configurations. They design mobile habitats that are neither too big nor too small. A case in point is the Granite Bay tiny house, which is 26-foot-long.

Built on a triple-axle trailer, the Granite Bay tiny house can be finished in colorbond, weathertex, or cedar cladding. The interior on the other hand features vinyl plank flooring with plywood, VJ sheeting, or pine interior lining. Designed by the Queensland-based tiny house company, Sunshine Tiny Houses, the 26-foot mobile habitat sleeps four thanks to dual lofts accessible via a ladder and a storage-integrated staircase.

The tiny house includes a living room with a sofa and a coffee table. The sofa faces the aluminum doors with a fiberglass insect mesh screen to keep the interior fresh, airy, and bug-free.

Adjacent is the kitchen which includes a cabinet, shelves, a countertop, and an extended breakfast bar. Not to mention, a sink, and a two-burner cooktop. Even the washing machine is placed beneath the countertop to make room for a spacious restroom that lies on the opposite end of the living area.

The bathroom features a semi-frameless shower screen and also includes a sink. The makers also give you the option to decide between a flushing, composting, or incinerating toilet, with the price varying for each.

The fully framed shell with plywood floors and lofts can be purchased for $68,500. In case you are looking for a completely finished tiny house ready for you to move in, it will cost you $125,000.
