Furniture that lets humans and their pets live in harmony around each other has a special market. To make its presence felt, Sunriu Design, a Taiwan-based furniture studio, has developed the Grid Sofa, a pet furniture that looks contemporary and stylish. The innovative design is a cross between sofa, bookshelf, and cat furniture that creates a way to let your furry little friends enjoy your company.

Grid sofa cat furniture keeps in mind the always curious nature of cats that like to explore hidden spaces. The sides of the sofa allow a cat to enter or leave and it can enjoy sitting at these two entrances or in the back of the sofa. The design mainly uses wood for the framework and serves as a space to store books or similar items on the sides of the sofa.

The modular wooden design is complemented by white fabric upholstery that completes the Grid Sofa pet furniture’s look. The spaces on the sides of the sofa can also be used to place small potted plants thus creating room for versatility.

Sunriu Design has a knack for designing pet furniture and with Grid Sofa the design studio has yet again proven its finesse. One of its previous designs that resembles the Grid Sofa is the Snowhouse Sofa which is conceptualized around the same lines but Grid Sofa has sharp edges as compared to the Snowhouse Sofa.

The Grid Sofa pet furniture will arrive in two variants – two-seater and three-seater -both of which are similar in design. The back portions of the furniture can be used to keep books or gadgets. The studio has also made public images of its Grid Chair which is a mini version of Grid Sofa pet furniture and looks like a cozy place to sit for humans while pets enjoy the indoor space created in the chair.
