For those who commute by bus, train, bike or hike with their dogs, H2Joe is an ultimate go-to water bottle. This hybrid travel container combines water bottle and travel coffee mug, which is intended to solve the problem of many commuters who literally have to juggle their beverage containers while traveling.

Now you don’t have to choose between hydration and your daily caffeine boost. You can easily carry both in one single container without any hassle.

This hybrid travel bottle is a brainchild of consumer product designers John Anthony and Brett Moody. The H2Joe comes with two separate, detachable coffee and water chambers. Each chamber holds 12 ounces of the liquid.

The lower compartment is vacuum-sealed and designed to keep coffee hot for up to six hours. The upper insulated compartment is designed to hold 12 ounces of water and keep it cold for up to eight hours, simultaneously.

The real genius is the dual-opening lid that enables the user to drink either water or coffee through the top spouts without needing to open the container or using two hands. Just open the lid like a normal water bottle, sip either of your drinks and get back to your task.

H2Joe travel bottle is made with the safest, highest quality food-grade materials including 304 food-safe stainless steel and BPA-free plastics. It is also reusable, waste-less, and lightweight. Moreover, it takes up minimal space in your handbag or backpack.

In an interview Moody, the co-founder of H2Joe said,

My wife Dorothy and I are avid coffee drinkers. For years, we’ve complained about having to fill two bottles each morning—one for coffee and one for water. Dorothy disliked having to juggle two bottles as she made her way out the door. I often forgot my water bottle altogether but had no problem refilling my coffee mug all day long. By the time I got home, I’d be caffeinated, dehydrated, and feeling guilty that I didn’t make the time to drink water.

The hybrid container was launched on Kickstarter a few months ago. It was supported by about 2,036 backers pledging over $120,590 to help the bottle successfully surpass its modest crowdfunding goal. Early birders are expecting their two-in-one bottle to be shipped their way by October 2019. If you’re interested you can pre-order your H2Joe on Indiegogo.
