As a helicopter aficionado, have you ever dreamt of spending a night in a helicopter offering all amenities of a luxury hotel? If yes, get ready to experience it first hand with the helicopter hotel located at Mains Farm in Stirling, Scotland.

The hotel is a Royal Navy ZA127 Sea King Helicopter converted into a hotel by Martyn and his wife Louise Steedman. Previously used for search-and-rescue operations, the helicopter was part of an online MOD auction in March 2016. The couple bought the helicopter for £7,000 (US$9,100) and transported it 320 miles by road with the help of a crane to picturesque Thornhill campsite. They spent some more dough to convert it into a luxurious holiday home.
