Rejoice all Hobbit and Lords of the Rings fans because now you have a chance to enjoy a stay in Middle Earth. The Hobbit treehouse by Gordon Mack is a hobbit-inspired treehouse located in Northern Hills, outside Deadwood, South Dakota.

The treehouse settled behind Chateau De Soleil is an integral part of a country house owned by Gordon Mack. The complete rental property features a house and treehouse, which can be booked for $600 (off-season) per night with a three-night minimum stay. The place is built to easily accommodate 16 people is an ideal place for a big family.

According to Mack, he always wanted to have a treehouse with round doors, and his inclination motivated him to build a Hobbit Treehouse with round windows and movie-inspired interiors.

The $70,000 project comprises an exquisite cabin built 16-feet off the ground on two pine trees. To create a nostalgic environment for hobbit lovers, Mack made sure to add everything that is depicted in the movie i.e. memorabilia, green and blue accents, mask worn by Sauron, lighted massive eye created by Gordon himself and gauntlet with the gold ring.

However, Mack does have some other rules too; if one wants to enter inside they have to wear hobbit-feet slippers, specially tailored for all age groups. The house apart from hobbit remembrance also has running water, TV, fireplace and air-conditioning, making it suitable for all weathers and any type of occupant.

If you plan to surprise your kids with their favorite character-inspired party, why not book yourself for Hobbit treehouse and enjoy a marvelous experience in Middle Earth.
