A tiny house you live in reflects your lifestyle and depicts who you are as a person. Some people prefer a minimalist design and live on bare essentials, while others choose to be surrounded by accessories, appliances, and furniture, all squeezed into the fullest to enhance functionality and aesthetics. The tiny house in the discussion here somewhat maintains a balance between the two ideologies. Dubbed Holz Hisla, the 19.6-feet long tiny house is neither too cluttered nor too minimalist.
Designed by France-based tiny house manufacturer Baluchon, the mobile habitat is based on a double-axle trailer and boasts a rustic appearance inspired by the emblematic architecture of this region. Finished in red cedar wood cladding with charred Douglas fir timber accents, the tiny house radiates a colorful vibe around, as in the case of most Baluchon micro dwellings.
One X-factor that Baluchon adds to Holz Hisla is a porch at the entrance. The porch is accoutered with sturdy railings and has a small storage bench to sit on and store your footwear. A glass door welcomes you inside the house that features a living room, kitchen, sleeping loft, storage loft, kitchen, and bathroom.
As in the case of most tiny houses, the living room of the Holz Hisla is comparatively small and comprises a sofa alongside a couple of stools. Adjacent is the wood-burning stove that will keep the interior warm, in addition to maintaining the aesthetics of the dwelling. Overall, the living room is airy and bright, courtesy of two beautifully-framed windows that allow light to penetrate inside. Not to mention, a long horizontal wooden cabinet that is ideal for placing interior décor showpieces and books.
Above the living room lies the first loft of the tiny house. Accessed via a removable ladder, the loft can be utilized as a storage space or can be used as a secondary living room. A window in the loft section allows the space to be filled with natural light.

Coming back to the main floor, we have a regular kitchen next to the living room. Featuring a traditional cabinet and a solid oak countertop, the kitchen is accoutered with a number of accessories and appliances ranging from a four-burner cooktop and sink to an oven and refrigerator. Baluchon has also kept a separate dining spot in order to prevent much clutter. The dining area features a double foldable table that can dine four people simultaneously.

A wooden door leads to the bathroom area that features a toilet, a full-size shower, and a sink. Above the bathroom lies the secondary loft of the tiny house. Boasting a low ceiling, the loft functions as a bedroom and sleeps a couple of people with ease. After having a good glance at the home, I can conclude, Holz Hisla tiny house is a gorgeous dwelling not just offering top-notch facilities but also a cozy and comfy environment for the inhabitants.
