While media coverage this week was largely dominated by lucrative Black Friday and Cyber Monday promotions, Chinese consumer electronics brand HONOR quietly stole the spotlight by unveiling its new Choice Bee AI Projector Air. The device grabbed attention for its lucrative price and two standout features. We’ll get to features later, but let’s focus on the projector’s price point.
At just $84, Honor Choice Bee AI Projector Air offers 280 CVIA lumens of brightness and a 2500:1 contrast ratio, making it an appealing option for casual home entertainment. The affordable price point suggests that HONOR is marketing the device as a hybrid entertainment-and-creativity tool aimed at families, students, remote workers, and anyone living in small or multipurpose spaces.
Besides its accessible price point, what sets the Honor Choice AI Projector Air apart from other projectors is its unique feature set. The first of these features is the inclusion of a dedicated stylus. First reported by Notebook Check and then followed by Android Authority, the projector comes with a dedicated stylus (pen-like handheld device) that lets users draw, write, or annotate directly on the projected image, turning any wall into a giant makeshift tablet or whiteboard.
HONOR’s long list of features doesn’t stop at this, as the company also touts offering an AI-powered air-gesture control that allows users to swipe, tap, drag, and select actions from a distance, with no remote or physical contact needed. Other features include an integrated 5W speaker and ports such as HDMI 2.0, USB, and a 3.5 mm audio. It supports Wi-FI 6 and Bluetooth 5.0, and comes with a voice remote.
From a design standpoint, the projector comes with a 160-degree adjustable stand, allowing users to aim the image at walls, ceilings, or angled surfaces with minimal setup. As for the size, the projector measures 200 × 201 × 55 mm and weighs approximately 2.6lbs, making it easy to move around the home or pack in a backpack for portable use. The projector comes in two color options: Starry White and Mauve Purple.

On the downside, the projector is only available for purchase in the Chinese market, with preorders starting December 8. There is no news of a global launch yet; however, some sources suggest that the company may have a surprise planned for CES 2026. But those are just rumors for now!
