Europe conversion outlet Hymer, owned by US-based Thor Industries, has launched the new Grand Canyon S Xperience special edition model optimized for comfortable living in the winter season. Based on an RWD Mercedes-Benz Sprinter, Hymer has built a campervan with winter-proof features to make it capable of traveling throughout the year. Furthermore, a 5G WLAN router is standard, allowing inhabitants to enjoy uninterrupted connectivity on the road.
Power Specs
Being built on an RWD Mercedes-Benz Sprinter, the camper van offers 170 bhp power, a 9G-tronic automatic transmission, and a 10.25-inch MBUX multimedia system including navigation and a reversing camera.
Driving Assistance Systems
The camper has modern assistance systems to tackle the most challenging routes in a breeze. With the HYMER Connect sensor package, the inhabitants get alerts whenever a window or door is opened as well as when any suspicious activity is detected via the app. This allows, the travelers to sleep inside without any tension of the camper van protection.
Design Upgrades
The van conversion comes with a Tenorite Grey Metallic exterior paint finish and the Xperience design graphics for a new, attention-grabbing look. For the interior, there are two style options: Ivy Green, with homely felt accents, and Pearl Grey, with a welcoming oak finish.

Maximum Connectivity With Onboard 5G WLAN Router
Hymer has included a 5G WLAN router and roof antenna as standard in a van for the first time. The Xperience edition package powered by a 5G WLAN router ensures reliable connectivity while on the road, even outside Europe. On the other hand, dual SIM capability allows you to switch between two providers to always have a mobile network.
Packed With High-Tech Features
Hymer has also added smart control features to the campervan. With the HYMER Connect system, the user gets all the vehicle information and can control living area functions. Other highlighting features are the smart battery system with an 80 Ah LiFePo4 lithium battery, four speakers, a 90-liter compressor refrigerator, and a 93-liter fuel tank.
Pricing and Availability
The Hymer Grand Canyon S Xperience special edition is now available for purchase at a price tag of £101,940 (approx. $126,758) at the official website. Additional components and features such as a pop-top roof, an electric off-road step, or a premium sound system can be included on request.
