Kessebohmer is set to introduce new standards in wall cabinets with its shelf lifter iMove – an innovative pull-down system designed especially for wall cabinets. As the name suggests, the shelf lifter is designed to provide better accessibility to things stored on the shelf. The innovative lifter transforms the classic wall cabinet into an ergonomic storage system providing maximum comfort to the user.

iMove is a user-friendly product assembled to offer superior design and functionality in the kitchen. The shelf lifter provides elegant movement to the wall cabinet, where no force adjustment is required. Designed to store items weighing up to 8 kg, iMove has been awarded the ‘iF Product Design Award 2015” in the Discipline Product category.

The spring support makes iMove downward and upward movement easy and fluid even when fully loaded with kitchen utensils.  The hand-friendly handle attached to the railing is provided with finger pinch protection to ensure user safety. The lifter can be accessed by applying little pressure that extends the railing downward giving you easy accessibility to items stored on the upper shelf.

The railing not only saves stored items from falling but also drops down automatically once brought downward. This function gives you the freedom to use both hands to load and unload the wall unit comfortably. The lower portion of the wall unit also remains unaffected by the shelf retraction, so heavier items, such as ceramic utensils can be placed in the lower section.

Available in one and two-shelf variants; the one shelf model is supplied for wall units measuring 50cm, 60cm, 80cm and 470mm high, depending upon the installation configuration. The double tray set is available for 50cm, 60 cm wide wall units that are 710mm high. To match with your kitchen interiors iMove is available in various colors like silver, brilliant white, satin gold, and anthracite.

The single shelf model is available for about $285, while the double shelf set is priced at approximately $350.
