Have you ever dreamed of owning your personal igloo? Your dream could come true with the Inland Iglu; a pop-up-tent-like dome that enables you to create your own igloo using nothing more than a garden hose.

With this dome-shaped igloo, you don’t need traditional tents for winter playtime in the garden or at the winter camp. Inland Iglu, currently amassing crowdfunding, features a mesh cover linked with fiberglass rods, and a set of LED rope lights to set up around the structure for a magical, icy vibe.

To build your own igloo, you will be required to put a garden hose into the dome and attach it to a receptacle in the dome’s ceiling. As you turn on the water, it produces a spray to spread water onto the dome’s exterior creating a freezing layer of ice. The dome comes with red plastic depth whiskers to tell you when to disconnect the hose so you can cut the water connection when the ice covering is at least 6 inches thick.

The makers of this DIY igloo mention; it would take around 10 to 15 hours to create an igloo. On completion, the igloo’s exterior would be able to withstand up to 700 lb of load without collapsing. Since the mesh, rods, and other dome hardware are reusable; you can create igloos as often as you like.

Imagine the amount of fun you’re going to have with your Inland Iglu. It is a wonderful way to add icy magic to your outdoor adventure. Both kids and grownups would love to spend a night in this pop-up igloo. If you don’t want an igloo, you can also choose Inland Iglu in rocket, castle, and pirate ship shapes.
