So don’t wait and try these DIY Jack-o’-lantern treat bags, which can also serve as party favors for a scary takeaway.

For this DIY, you can take inspiration from DIYer Crafts by Amanda. It is easy to make and less time consuming. You only need a few supplies to get this done, including paper lunch bags or orange party bags, orange paint, scrapbook paper, green tissue paper, twine or raffia, hole puncher, scissors, and glue stick.

Instructions for DIY Jack-o’-Lantern Treat Bags

  • Start by painting your bags with orange paint and let them dry completely. You can also use store bought orange party paper if you want to save yourself from making a mess. It will be a bit expensive but less messy
  • While your bags are drying, you can prepare your Jack-o’-lantern facial features from craft paper. However, if you don’t want to use any ordinary paper, you can use construction paper, as it works better for facial features
  • Take these facial features and glue them on each treat bag and allow them to dry
  • Then, fill each treat bag with green tissue paper, and whatever goodies you want to put in it, and punch a hole at the top of the bag. Tie a twine for the final touches

And you are good-to-go, your creepy and festive Jack-o’-lantern treat bags are ready to serve delicious snacks and treats to your loved ones.

These eerie treat bags are a fun activity to do on Halloween. Whether it’s for party favors for friends and family or you hand them out to the adorable trick-or-treaters, these treat bags will serve the spook. The best thing is that you can involve kids in this project and make them create treat bags in their own mischievous style.
