Created by France Bed, a Japanese interior design company, the crafty mechanism entails an automatically reclining bed which ergonomically adjusts to your prone position. Now, novelty wise this is of course not the first mattress that reclines to give you optimized comfort. However, it is among those exclusive bed conceptions that have two separate motors incorporated in its frame. This helps in automatic reclining of both the back rest and the foot rest, thus improving upon the user’s overall level of comfort.

According the company’s statistics, 40 percent of consumers also use bed as a reading platform while resting. As a matter of fact, this seems to be the commercial application of the lightweight RP-1000, with its inherent mechanical flexibility catering to various resting positions.
