French designer Jerome Olivet, who along with the renowned scientist Philippe Starck proposed a radical concept for the future of smartphones has designed Asteroide, a unique wood-burning stove for Cheminee Philippe, a renowned French manufacturer of fireplaces and heating stoves. With its fluid and oval shape, it resembles a real rocket that’s ready to take-off. Furthermore, its curved chenet keeps the wood-burning chamber suspended in air, making it safer for use at homes.

Its back and interiors are designed to make it a stylish modern object. There is a glass door to keep a check on the combustion process. This rocket-shaped wood-burning stove is available in satin black finish featuring a chromed handle that adds character to the design.
