China-based JMGO partnered with German company Leica Camera for new home cinema products last year. After 12 months of development, they have finally launched the JMGO O1 Pro ultra-short-throw LED projector on the crowd-funding platform Indiegogo. Combining advanced optic and imaging quality, the UST projector’s crowd-funding campaign has been an instant hit as it was fully funded in just 15 minutes.

JMGO O1 Pro is an FHD 4K compatible UST projector equipped with an optical engine and built-in speakers co-developed with Denmark’s Dynaudio to provide a cinematic viewing experience at home. The total throw ratio is reduced to 0.21m in the O1 Pro with the help of Leica. The projector provides 70-inch to 110-inch screen when placed just 9-inches away from the wall or screen.

It delivers 1920 x 1080p resolution and has a brightness of 1,250 ANSI lumens, 6,000:1 dynamic contrast, wide color gamut, and LED light source with 45,000 hours of lifespan. Image quality enhancing features like real-time autofocus, auto keystone correction, wall color calibration, a low blue light mode and more are refined in the projector.

JMGO O1 Pro is also versatile in terms of connectivity – it includes 2 USB, 2 HDMI, 1 Optical and 1 LAN port. The projector can be connected to phones, tablets, laptops, and other gadgets for displaying the desired multimedia content.

Its full moon grey color and sleek rounded design make the O1 Pro look stylish. It is a new entry but is packed with interesting features and 4K compatibility. If you’re interested, you can get out and back the projector’s campaign on Indiegogo by pledging a minimum of HKD 6,666 (about US$860). A smaller version O1 is priced for HKD 5,423 ($698).
