New-Zealand-based Build Tiny has come up with The Kapiti House, a tiny house that is perfect for two people. The house has been built using a colored steel frame and macrocarpa cladding; it features double-glazed aluminum windows and lightweight poplar core plywood interior linings.
The towable house features a large glass door that allows one into the 23-feet of exquisite genius filled with natural lighting and ample utilities for a couple. The living room has a small sofa and a tiny wood-burning stove that acts as a source of warmth.
The kitchen features a propane-powered two-burner stove, an oven, sink, and a fridge/freezer. It also has been equipped with lots of cabinetry that includes a pull-out pantry, a large laundry cupboard, and a moveable cabinet on wheels. Furthermore, it also features a compact bathroom with a toilet, a shower, and a bit more space for storage.
Located just above the kitchen is the loft bedroom, which for space-saving is accessible via a ladder built into the wall. Negotiating the ladder is not everyone’s piece of the pie, but if you happen to get up there, it’s pretty spacious. The skylight over the bed adds to the natural lighting, while a sanding platform adjacent to the bed offers a clear headspace to stand while changing clothes maybe.

The tiny house on wheels has an on-grid 16 amp caravan connection and is also prewired for future solar installation if the owners wish to convert the Kapiti House into an off-grid home. Kapiti tiny house will cost between NZ$ 150,000 to 170,000 (approx $107,870 to $122,200), the price variation is because each unit can be customized to will.
