The KitchenAid stand mixer has stood the test of time and has become a favorite for bakers, including yours truly. My only issue, and it is so basic that it is a non-issue, is that I have to scrap the bowl in between the process, and often the flour goes flying everywhere when the machine starts mixing. Well, KitchenAid practically said, “Girl, no more.” The high-end brand has just made a legendary update to its fan-favorite tilt-head stand mixer for the first time since 1955. The brand-new Artisan Plus is designed as an evolution of the iconic KitchenAid tilt-head build.

The new model comes with a suite of breakthrough advancements, including an LED bowl light, precise speed control, a double flex edge beater, and a ½ speed setting, which is a first on a tilt-head mixer. Each of these new additions ensures that professional and home bakers like me can enjoy a smooth process without having to worry about cleanup afterwards.

Considered one of the best stand mixers for over a century, the iconic stand mixer has now been reimagined to take your culinary explorations to new heights. The KitchenAid Artisan Plus debuts in four new colorways and three distinct finishes. Each hue and finish adds distinct depth, warmth, and visual interest to your countertop.

But the new colorways are not what sets this upgrade apart. The KitchenAid Artisan Plus stand mixer comes loaded with some of the most attractive features this tool has ever seen, each designed to make the baking time truly relaxing. Its Precision Speed Control lets you glide between speeds smoothly, which makes finding the exact setting needed for your perfect textures every time. This is going to come in real handy for me because I struggle with finding the perfect rhythm.

There is an integrated LED bowl light, a first-ever for the brand. It provides visibility for precise measurements, thorough mixing, and effortless accuracy. The Double Flex Edge Beater has silicone edges that scrape the bowl as it mixes, so no more manual scarping, for which I am going to be eternally thankful to KitchenAid.

One new addition to the widely-loved kitchen tool is the ½ fold speed. This allows you to gently incorporate ingredients to prevent overmixing, folding in delicate ingredients like egg whites and berries. Additionally, the Soft Start gradually increases the mixing speed to keep the ingredients from flying all over the counter space.

The Artisan Plus mixer comes with durable, dishwasher-safe stainless steel accessories, a precision-welded stainless steel bowl, a double flex edge beater, a dough hook, a wire whisk, and a flat beater.

The new colorways and finish combos include Sundried Tomato, Crinkle Finish; Wild Blueberry, Crinkle Finish; Iron Ore Bronze, Satin Metallic Finish; and Oat, Satin Finish. The Artisan Plus is also available in 11 of the brand’s most beloved existing colors, including Agave, Cast Iron Black, Matte Black, Blue Steel, Cardamom, Feather Pink, Juniper, Mint Julep, Medallion Silver, Porcelain White, and Pebbled Palm. I am really partial to the bright Sundried Tomato hue.

To celebrate this new launch, the brand is offering consumers an opportunity to be one of the five lucky winners to get the Artisan Plus in one of the new color choices. Until April 13, 2026, you can enter a chance to win this beautiful kitchen appliance. For those who won’t win, don’t worry, the Artisan Plus is already retailing for $600 at KitchenAid, so you can get your hands on it anytime. As for me, I am too impatient to wait to see if I won, so I am just going to go and purchase my favorite one. Happy Baking!
