Apple’s G5 Mac was a revolutionary computer of early millennium with gorgeous aluminum design, but its tenure ended after the launch of Mac Pro in 2006. However, its sleek and sublime design is simply too good to be disposed off. Shapes of these retired computers enticed the German designer Klaus Geiger, who has created a collection of functional office furniture using old Macs.

The collection is composed of entirely of Mac cases and is dubbed Benchmarc; it includes several furniture pieces like a bench, a conference table, file cabinets etc. The bench is designed using finely etched wooden plank that forms a bridge between two Power Mac G5 units. This wooden plank fits perfectly on chassis of both computer units, forming an industrial furniture design.

Beyond that, Geiger has crafted a conference table with a huge glass tabletop resting on two piles of Macs; each pile is composed of three classic Mac units. Likewise, other flexible office furniture pieces are also composed of various Mac units stacked upon each other in different arrangements.
