Build Tiny enjoys a great reputation among the tiny house community in New Zealand. The micro dwelling maker Down-Under has designed over fifty tiny houses and left a smile on the faces of its clients. One such mobile habitat by Build Tiny that its buyers Leina and Peter loved to the core is dubbed Laser Kiwi tiny house.

The tiny house is elegant both inside and out and also offers the flexibility of running on or off the grid. Measuring 23.6 feet long, it flaunts an exterior featuring a steel frame with vinyl cladding. The double-glazed aluminum windows allow plenty of natural light to penetrate inside and kiss the poplar core interior.

The best part about the entire tiny house is how amazingly it strikes a balance between comfort and elegance. Despite measuring this small, the tiny house is loaded with features that make it look no less than a regular home.

Upon entering, you would be graced by a small living room that is equipped with a sofa and a pouf. Adjacent to the sofa is a small table that houses your boots, caps, and other nitty-gritty essentials. The living room then connects to the kitchen which features all the essentials for a living.

Featuring all the modern appliances, the tiny house kitchen comes equipped with appliances ranging from a full-size fridge and oven to a cooktop and sink. Not to mention, cabinets and open shelves that make space for storing groceries and other items. There is no dearth of space in the tiny house, as Build Tiny has also outfitted closets adjacent to the entrance door.

Opposite the kitchen is the bathroom of the tiny house. It looks really snug and is packed with a shower, toilet, and vanity. Like most tiny houses, the bedroom of Laser Kiwi tiny home is located in the loft section that lies above the bathroom.

Accessed via a storage-integrated wooden staircase the bedroom sleeps two people with ease. It is fitted with open shelves and cabinets and also features a full-height headboard that not only functions as a safety barrier but also adds privacy to the space. On a little downside, the loft doesn’t feature any safety rail, so Leina and Peter would have to be a little cautious while sleeping.

I’m totally in love with the entire “Tiny House” movement. I hope to be shopping for one in the next 3 years, probably somewhere between 300-500 square feet. I definitely have a price range being on a fixed income, no more than $10-15,000. Thank you.
