There are so many environment enthusiasts who have built cozy tiny houses out of recycled materials that have minimal impact on the environment. With green building trend on the rise, it’s no surprise that New Hampshire-based tiny house builder Colton Ronzio has thoughtfully utilized reclaimed materials in its Legacy tiny house built for Wood & Heart Building Co. It is a mixture of both modern and rustic features, making it a good choice for people who like to enjoy modern lifestyle yet don’t want to miss the nostalgic feeling of living in a rustic dwelling.
This ready to move-in tiny home sits on a 26′ x 8.5′ trailer and features a black standing seam metal roof. Its exterior is decked with cedar siding contrasting the hand-milled tongue-and-groove Shou Sugi Ban-style charred cedar trim, while closed-cell spray foam insulation is used throughout floor, walls, and ceiling. The exterior utility closet houses a tankless water heater, propane tank and 50-amp electrical panel with RV outlet.
As of the interior space, it features an open floor plan layout with thirteen windows and three skylights bringing loads of natural light into the tiny home. Furthermore, there are 6” shiplap interior walls and reclaimed rough-sewn ceiling complementing the rustic oak flooring. There is a fully-equipped kitchen, bathroom featuring a reclaimed wood accent wall and a loft bedroom for two. The full-size pull-out sofa in the living area can also be used to get additional sleeping space.
The Legacy tiny house is available now for US$76,500 including all the furniture, appliances and decor.
