Vincent van Gogh never imagined the impact his work would have on the art world or the Netherlands, where people grew up surrounded by the beauty of his artwork. Van Gogh Museum is Mecca of the Dutch Post-Impressionist painter’s artwork, including his beloved painting Sunflowers. Although the original painting resides in the Van Gogh Museum, it has been all around the world in different forms. Adding to that proud collection of styles, the museum collaborated with the LEGO Group to immortalize Van Gogh’s Sunflowers in a brick set.

The 3D version of the beloved painting brings the essence of Van Gogh’s 1889 masterpiece to life and is a fun-filled offering to those brickheads who are art nerds as well. LEGO designer Stijn Oom, who is from the Netherlands, proudly translated the iconic painting into a 2615-piece LEGO brick set.

LEGO Art Vincent van Gogh – Sunflowers includes the painting’s 16 sunflowers with customizable petals. The brick set also includes a removable frame, a tile with Van Gogh’s signature, and a hanging system to mount the complete brick artwork on your wall.

This collectible set will let you immerse yourself in a meditative process of recreating the summer beauty by Van Gogh. Stijn Oom’s extensive research to understand Van Gogh’s life and backstory helped shape his perspective into modeling the Sunflowers LEGO set.

Stijn started with a rough concept sketch and worked to create a full 3D translation while staying true to the original work. The set is designed to capture the artist’s original brushstrokes. Once completed, the bricks shine in three shades of yellow with a dynamic play on light and shadow.

LEGO has made two brick-built versions of Sunflowers, which will be permanently displayed at the LEGO store in Amsterdam and the Van Gogh Museum. The LEGO set will officially launch on March 1, 2025, and is currently available for pre-order at $199.99. This might be the only Sunflowers replica you can afford.
