Most people spent the last few months of 2020 working from home due to the COVID-19 pandemic. However, this has encouraged many designers to come up with flexible working arrangements. The LIVIT Studypod is one such amazing setup that’s intended to take the monotony of studying or working from home to the outdoors, such as your garden, backyard, or elsewhere.

This small pod can easily transform into a study, office, or bedroom while offering your necessary privacy and protection from the elements. Basically a room on wheels (it comes with optional wheels for transportation), the composite cube structure boasts a black-tinted hardened glass window to offer you an unobstructed view of your surroundings.

Measuring W2.15 x L1.8 x H2.1 meter, the Studypod is weatherproof to bear the impact of the changing climatic conditions. Since the pod can be taken away anywhere you like, you can certainly enhance your work productivity and regenerate your mental health. If you install it amid nature, the entire experience will entice the body and make you feel better even while working.

The interior of the pod has oak laminate flooring and comes integrated with a detachable desk. It also features four downlights, a power outlet, and a light switch. The pod also offers natural ventilation with its adjustable airflow. Due to all these amazing features, the pod is pretty heavy, weighing 700 kg.

Priced €11,900 (approx. $14,000), the Livit Studypod can also be customized as per your needs. You may opt for the basic pod (which is only the pod) or select it with a desk. You may even go for both desk and wheels option or basic pod with wheels. Another custom design option is to fit a bed into this pod to make a cozy cabin for relaxing in your backyard.
