UK-based startup Loch Electronics has introduced a personal dishwasher with the capacity to wash two meals worth of dishes in just 15 minutes. Named Capsule, it combines three functionalities in one unit. This compact dishwasher takes only 249mm of countertop space but is able to fit large dinner plates, frying pans, tall bottles, baking pans and chopping boards. It works with or without plumbing, so you can use it anywhere you like.
Aside from a dishwasher, Capsule also features a UV light setting for medical-grade disinfection and a washing function to clean fruits and vegetables. Furthermore, it can also be used to disinfect phones, face masks, mail, keys, baby bottles, etc.
It is ready to be used right out of the box with three easy steps in just 5 minutes. You need to plug it into a power outlet, connect the water inlet to the provided Capsule water tank and water outlet to a water hose, place the other end onto the sink. Alternatively, you can connect the water inlet and water outlet to the water supply and drainage piping just like a standard dishwasher.

The Capsule is an eco-friendly product that saves water and energy costs as it can wash up to 15 items in just 15 minutes using only two jars of water. The dishwasher comes in many different colors to fit in different kitchen settings. Currently, it is available for pre-order through Kickstarter for just $359.
