Just when we thought we’d seen the best of Vagabond Haven, the Swedish tiny house manufacturer brings another gem of a tiny home to impress us. This time, it is the Lucia tiny house, the company’s latest tiny house on a foundation that trades wheels for a wider, more regular house-like lifestyle.

Unlike most of Vagabond Haven’s towable lineup, the Lucia is built for permanent installation. It measures 24.6 feet in length and 13 feet in width, significantly wider than the standard 8.5-foot models the company typically builds. That extra width is where the Lucia really earns its keep. We’ll get to that shortly, but first, let’s take a good look at the exterior.

The Lucia genuinely boasts country cottage vibes. From the outside, the aesthetic is firmly cottage-esque, with a choice of spruce or engineered wood siding, a metal roof, and multiple color options. The front facade features generous glazing, including a set of double glass doors that open the home visually and flood the interior with natural light. There is also a secondary entrance on the side.

Inside, the Lucia tiny house boasts 322 square feet of living space. The living room anchors the front of the house, taking full advantage of all that glazing, and fits a large sofa and a dining table for two. Adjacent to it is a compact kitchen equipped with an induction cooktop, an oven, a sink, and ample cabinetry with room for additional appliances. Some of the interior features include painted plasterboard, wood paneling, and birch plywood, with light tones and a high ceiling giving the whole space an airy quality.

Vagabond Haven also includes a dedicated home office, which is a genuinely rare feature in a home this size. It comes with built-in cabinetry, a desk, and a chair, making the Lucia a practical option for remote workers looking to downsize without sacrificing a proper workspace. The bathroom sits nearby and is well-specified, with a glass-enclosed shower, a flushing toilet, a vanity sink, and a washer/dryer combo.

That brings us to the bedroom, which lies upstairs. It’s reached via a staircase that doubles as storage, with integrated nooks and cupboard space built into its steps. The loft itself has the low ceiling typical of this layout and fits a double bed alongside built-in storage.

The Lucia tiny house is priced at $97,000, though that number can vary considerably depending on optional customizations, which include a terrace and pergola add-on, color selections, and furnishing packages. The interested can hop on to the Vagabond Haven website.
