The Italian designer Cristina Celestino has a diverse background focusing on interior design and architecture, and product design. She has been transforming the interiors of luxury powerhouses such as Fendi with her quaint style and imagination. As part of Fendi Casa 2022, Cristina created the Marea low table which is a poetic imitation of coastlines.

The Marea low table is a beautiful piece of furniture that mimics the degradation of the seabed with contouring lines unfolding under the glass table top. Boasting contrasting materials and colors, the table is made of metal clad in blue on one side to evoke the image of a raging sea. The other side bears natural wood accent to reflect a seabed shaped by water.

The designer calls it a “poetic reaction” with strong artistic and ingenious potential. An intertwining game between pure volumes, the low table can be used as a coffee table or a side table. It features a generous dimension to allow you to display your trove in style while storing things in the concealed drawer.

The oblique variation and sculptural volume of the table juxtapose the natural touches to create a breathtaking interior layout. Functional and aesthetical, the Marea low table is the epitome of Cristina’s skill and precision.
