Amid various challenges, Middle Eastern designers and brands have carved out a thoughtfully curated presence at the event.
Designers from Lebanon, Iran, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Palestine, and other countries have showcased their creative narratives at the world’s leading design event. They mostly presented culturally rooted, craft-driven work that blends heritage with contemporary design. Check some of the best works by Middle East designers at Milan Design Week 2026 below.
Maurizio Stone Table
Palestinian duo AAU Anastas have presented the Maurizio table at Milan Design Week 2026. This table is distinguished by its unique tabletop made of carefully cut stone pieces that lock together to support each other and stay stable. Individually, these pieces are weak, but together they form a strong structure that can stand on its own.
La volupté Collection
This sculptural furniture collection by Lebanese studio Atelier L’Inconnu blurs the lines between furniture, architecture, and art. It features a feminine-inspired form achieved by master weavers with hours of work by hand. It is crafted using traditional wicker weaving from Lebanon that the studio seeks to preserve and modernize. These pieces are showcased under the RoCollectible 2026 at Rossana Orlandi.
Scapula Chair
Designed by Beirut-based david/nicolas for Ceccotti Collezioni, this dining chair is visually appealing from every angle. Featuring a solid walnut or ash frame with integrated armrests and upholstered seats, the chair has a compelling structure inspired by human shoulder blades. The mini upholstered backrest on its rear side is also a creative design element that creates a kind of porthole through which the upholstery material can be glimpsed and appreciated.
Loop Bench
The Loop bench by Lebanese designer Roseline Jabbour is inspired by the “small shifts of everyday life”. Crafted from powder-coated steel, it features a twisted design where soft curves meet a rigid structure. While it appears as a single flowing structure, it is actually fabricated from multiple laser-cut pieces that are precision-welded to maintain a seamless profile. The bench is lightweight and easy to move, yet it remains structurally stable.

Zahra Stool
This wooden stool carried the memory of a river at Milan Design Week 2026. Designed by Egyptian product designers Malak El Zeftawy in collaboration with Rana Ayman, it is made of a handcrafted wooden frame that supports a woven top seat. The pattern on the seat showcases a blue dye inspired by the Nile River. It is a contemporary furniture piece inspired by Ancient Egyptian craft. The blue color symbolizes holding water and air, while it sports a contemporary form built from old gestures.
Cactus Collection
The Cactus Collection by Georges Mohasseb blends nature’s organic forms with a contemporary twist. Inspired by cacti, the collection showcases textured silhouettes crafted through a unique mix of recycled marble, limestone, and resin. Handmade in collaboration with local artisans, the collection reflects Mohasseb’s passion for timeless design, rooted in tradition and material experimentation. For 2026, the collection was integrated into a massive, narrative-led installation at Nilufar Depot called the “Nilufar Grand Hotel”.
MO.DU.LO Collection
Etereo unveiled the MO.DU.LO collectible design collection created for the US-based gallery StudioTwentySeven at the Milan fair. These pieces feature fused glass blocks and mirrored steel inspired by 1970s Italian architecture. Crafted in Italy, the collection includes a dining table, a console, a side table, a fumoir, and a floor lamp available in three heights.
Cora Stool
Designed by Albandari Aljuaid and Abeer AlRabiah for Iwan Maktabi, this unique upholstered stool was showcased during Milan Design Week 2026 as part of the Jusoor Design Collection. It is a sculptural seating system merging contemporary Saudi design with textile craftsmanship.
Takween Lamps
Designed by Aseel Alamoudi in collaboration with India-based klove studio, this series of three table lamps explores the contrast between natural, handcrafted, and industrial materials. Each piece combines raw sandstone, hand-blown glass, and stainless steel. Light connects the elements, highlighting subtle variations in color, texture, and reflection. Each lamp is unique due to the nature of the components, materials, and process used to create it.
