It is truly said – a picture is worth a thousand words. In that regard, the above pictured conception describes it all with its boisterous geeky quotient. Designed by Kayla Kromer (who by the way, is also a primary school teacher and inventor of the Hamburger Bed), the Star Wars-themed bed replicates the exalted Millennium Falcon, a YT-1300 light freighter commanded by the great Han Solo. And, as with the tradition of Star Wars smugglers, the furniture can perform its very own ‘Kessel Run’ with gorgeously illuminating lights sparkling at the rear and lower end of the bed (see image in the gallery).

Now, though many of such designs eschew practicality in favor of pure visual treats, the Millennium Falcon bed is uniquely functional in its scope. How so? Well, the bed comes with its attached covers that mimic the top facade armors and turret of the smuggler ship. So, this allows you to slide in comfortably inside the sheets (much like sleeping bags). Furthermore, the bed also has additional storage space inside one of its ‘turbo-fan engines’ to notch up on the usability scope.
