“The tiny house movement is getting stronger not only through the change in the mindset and what people want for themselves but also due to the housing market we are currently living in,” stated Fabio Paulucci during an exclusive interview with Homecrux. What Paulucci said makes sense considering recession and soaring rental prices are walking hand in hand. This ultimately has led to more people opting for tiny lifestyles over traditional houses.

With demand for tiny houses increasing, manufacturers like Aussie Tiny Houses are building brand new models to fathom the needs of tiny lifestyle enthusiasts. Mooloolaba 8.4 is one such micro dwelling by Aussie Tiny Houses that captured our eye. Measuring 27.5 feet (8.4 m) in length, the tiny house is based on a triple-axle trailer and comes finished in cedar cladding with solar packages available.

Mooloolaba 8.4 features an open plan that provides plenty of living space for placing a large couch with a chaise to fit in with ease. The Aussie Tiny Houses had outfitted the space with an optional TV/entertainment unit that can hold a 55-inch TV with more storage possibilities.

Not to mention, there is a separate area for the washing machine under the stairs. The floor-to-ceiling double-hung window and two sliding doors allow plenty of natural light to penetrate inside, hence making the tiny home more luminous than ever.

Adjacent to the TV unit is the kitchen of the tiny house. Flexing an L-shaped kitchen, Aussie Tiny Houses has equipped the space with a full-height fridge opening, appliance cupboard, and plenty of storage under the bench and overheads. With plenty of storage available, one will never run out of space in this well-appointed kitchen. There is also a breakfast bar that can function as a workstation.

The tiny house features a storage-integrated staircase that allows you to house nitty-gritty essentials. There is enough room under it for keeping a washing machine. The stairs lead to the bedroom of the tiny house that has a comfy queen-size bed and more storage space. Its bathroom can be accessed via a cavity sliding door, a standard flush toilet, and a shower.
