Mumbai-based design studio, Name Place Animal Thing, has created a stunning nature-inspired furnishing series dubbed the Habitat Collection. The collection is motivated by the unrefined, natural beauty of flora and fauna. But the star of this line-up is the Moose Cabinet-cum-sideboard, the design of which takes after its namesake animal. This particular piece of furniture is created as a charming station to hold your keys and other prone-to-losing accessories.

Designed to function as a cabinet or sideboard, the Moose is a versatile piece of art that can used in various settings, including the bedroom, living room, or entrance. Made of oak wood, it features a classically fluted shutter and color-stained plug-and-play accessories to be used for different needs.

The cleverly designed push-to-open shutter is easy to operate. The eye of the animal-shaped cabinet acts as a knob for the face shutter, which has green stained insides and can be used to store knick-knacks. It can also be used as a partially open, partially concealed library, display furniture, or liquor cabinet, depending on where you want to place it.

The playful, switchable accessories not only complete the whimsical design but have functional implementations, as well. For instance, the antlers of the furniture can hold keys, hats, or scarves. The bowl attachment is a great place to put your watch, rings, and other accessories, while the mirrors do what they do best; reflect your beautiful self.

The Moose cabinet/sideboard measures 63.4-inch-wide, 15.7-inch-deep, and 42.6-inch-high. Although the Moose has infinite uses, it is priced rather high. Acquiring this piece of artistic furniture will set you back $2,500, excluding shipping. The other pieces include the Caterpillar Bar Unit, Alpaca Bar Cabinet, and Mushroom Floor Lamps.
