Water holds the beauty of nature and an aquarium tries to replicate some of its lures. We all have dreamt in our childhood of acquiring an aquarium someday, and now when we are free to take our own decisions and manage our own expenses, why not get an aquarium home. The dilemma now lies in selecting the perfect aquarium that blends with our home interior and also looks fancy at the same time.

New Wave Concepts, a German company brings out a display aquarium to adorn your house with the beauty of nature. This particular aquarium is built inside a washing machine. Miele washing machine was converted into an aquarium featuring a lighting and filtration system. The display aquarium is made of Plexiglas and can hold up to 250l of water to support aquatic life.

The aquarium comprises an integrated filter that keeps water in good shape to support the growth of plants and marine life inside. Moreover, there is aquarium lighting available to keep a check on fish during nighttime and also give it a pleasant look.

The washing machine turned aquarium is stocked with freshwater CPO crayfish and related stock. Apart from it, the fish tank also has a type of moss and nine different aquatic plant species. The most intriguing part of the aquarium is the landscape, which successfully mimics the riverbank area and will be loved by children.

In addition to this, there is a lot of hiding space available for the fish, giving them a homely environment. Furthermore, the boundaries of the aquarium were created using bogwood and mini landscaping rock to give it a natural shape.

The machine-turned aquarium measures around 550mm in length, 600mm in width and stands 800mm tall. Manufactured in Wassenberg, Germany, the aquarium is a must try if not so much a buy. Jump to the New Wave Aquarium Concepts website for more information.
