After introducing its dual-zone air fryer, Ninja is back with its first-ever microwave that also doubles as an air fryer. The newly launched Ninja Crispi Microwave is the brand’s first countertop microwave that is designed to crisp up your food as well as heat. It joins the ever-expanding lineup of the brand’s cooking innovations.

Equipped with 14-in-1 cooking functionality, the new Ninja microwave includes eight microwave presets and five air fryer presets. It can defrost, crisp, air bake, and more. The countertop appliance features an XL flatbed design for 40 percent more space, allowing you to heat leftovers or cook.

For years, people have depended on microwaves to heat leftovers but have settled for soggy, unevenly heated meals. This sours the experience. However, with the Ninja Crispi Microwave, you never have to settle for soggy messes. As The Verge points out, “it could be the fix for soggy reheated pizza.”

The new Ninja countertop appliance builds on the success of its proprietary CRISPi platform. It reimagines the microwave experience, delivering traditional settings along with crispy, oven-quality results in non-toxic glass. Moreover, the Ninja Crispi Microwave has full meals ready up to 60 percent faster than a conventional oven, as the press release highlights.

At the core is the FusionCrisp Technology. The process begins with the appliance cooking, then automatically finishing with Ninja’s legendary air frying. With 1700W, it uses superheated cyclonic air up to 450 degrees Fahrenheit to take food from frozen to crispy in 10 minutes.

The microwave brings CleanCrisp glass to the countertop appliance for the first time. Its 5.5-quart glass basket is non-toxic and PFAS- and PTFE-free, allowing you to cook meals for 8 to 10 people. The basket can hold up to 6 lbs of wings, 4 lbs of fries, an 8-lb chicken, or 4 pizza slices.

The glassware and crisper plate are dishwasher-safe, making cleanup a breeze. Unlike conventional designs, the Ninja microwave has a turntable-free interior, which is easy to wipe. Notably, the Ninja Crispi glassware is only compatible with the Microwave mode. For Air Fry and FusionCrisp functions, the included Ninja Crispi Microwave Glassware should be used. The Ninja Crispi Microwave is priced at $449.99 and comes in a sleek black and silver palette to fit right onto your countertop.
