Given a choice between a home gym and a commercial one, most people would choose the former. A home setup eliminates commute time, saves on membership fees, and gives users privacy and full control over hygiene. Chinese company Innodigym has launched OMNI X1, a home gym that checks all those boxes and offers even more.

Currently crowdfunding on Kickstarter, the all-in-one gym has already pulled in more than $1.6 million from over 640 backers, and the numbers really intrigue me. We’ve covered a handful of home gyms on Homecrux, each having its own strengths. AEKE K1 focuses on 4K visuals and motion tracking, while Growl offers classes spanning yoga to boxing. Then we have compact, non-smart options like the TonerBox and Cube Rower Series that skip the tech entirely in favour of saving space. The question is where the Innodigym OMNI X1 fits among them.

Per the details on the company’s Kickstarter page, OMNI X1 essentially functions as a cable machine. However, its additional capabilities and software stretch its scope of work even further. The machine primarily boasts four features. These include: Four Intelligent Training Modes, Smart Assistance, AI Coach & Laser Motion Tracking, and Space-Saving Design. We’ll get to each aspect one by one.

To start with, the OMNI X1 offers training modes: Standard (for traditional lifts), Eccentric (more resistance on the way down), Isokinetic (constant, speed-based resistance), and Spring Mode (resistance increases as you stretch). Thanks to Smart Assistance, it can also detect when you are struggling and adjust the weight accordingly. The aluminum frame, built from CNC-machined components, handles lat pulldowns, bench presses, rows, cable crunches, squats, and most of the movements you’d expect from a full cable station.

The OMNI X1 runs on dual servo motors that generate roughly 260 lbs of combined digital resistance, allowing it to smoothly adjust load across hundreds of exercises without a single weight plate in sight. It also manages to stay compact without feeling like a compromise. One amazing aspect is the smart pull-up assistance, which the brand claims is the first of its kind.

Moving on to the third aspect, OMNI X1 also serves as your personal fitness coach, creating customized workouts while analyzing and correcting your lifting posture using advanced movement tracking. OMNI X1 delivers a subscription-free digital home gym experience using motor-controlled resistance instead of physical weights. It includes an integrated display, multi-user tracking, and AI-driven coaching that monitors your form and gives real-time feedback.

Lastly, its foldable design takes up minimal floor space and includes wheels for easy movement, making it highly suitable for home use. Unfolded, it measures about 56 inches long, 37 inches wide, and 75 inches tall. The Pro model adds a built-in HD display, while the Basic version relies on your phone or tablet for guidance instead.

Early-bird pledges start at $1,699 for the Basic model, and $1,899 for the Pro, both meaningful discounts off the $3,299 retail price, and bundles that include a fitness bench or pull-up attachment push the total higher without losing their appeal. Shipping is expected to begin in July 2026, with orders fulfilled in batches through the following months.
