If you live in a rental accommodation where you cannot use a Karu pizza oven just because your landlord wouldn’t allow grills and pizza ovens on the patio or balcony? Ooni’s latest indoor pizza oven may just be your savior.

Ooni is arguably one of the best pizza oven makers offering excellent insulation abilities. Every pizza oven ranging from gas and wood-fired from Ooni is capable of cooking moreish meals. However, the Scotland-based pizza oven maker had just been a contributor to the outdoor gatherings. It had never stepped foot inside closed walls. For a change, Ooni heads indoors with its first-ever indoor electric pizza oven.

Dubbed Ooni Volt 12  the oven reaches 850°F (450°C) in about 20 minutes and prepares delicacies ranging from Neapolitan-style pizzas to steaks. The oven is hot enough to cook a Neapolitan-style pizza in 90 seconds, the company claims.

Weighing around 40 lbs, the electric oven is easy to move around and can easily be set up on any kitchen counter. Though it might look small in pictures, it measures 24.2 x 20.8 x 10.9 inches. The Volt 12 electric pizza oven features a 13-inch cooking surface that’s shrouded by a powder-coated steel body, making it possible to even be used outdoors.

The pizza oven also has ‘advanced’ insulation that retains heat and withstands the weather. Not to mention, the oven boasts two heating elements (one at the top for downward heat, and the other under a 13-inch cordierite baking stone). The Volt 12 also has an innovative Boost function that speeds up the time it takes to reheat the stone.

Other notable features include a timer and temperature control option onboard that allow users to control the power according to requirement of what’s cooking. The Ooni Valt 12 all-electric oven costs $999; I know you might be bummed out at the price tag, but considering how Ooni has revolutionized the pizza oven industry, it ain’t a bad choice either!
