The Palace luxury bathroom line, designed by French designer Christophe Pillet for Italian marble brand Kreoo, serves as a modern tribute to the ancient traditions of Italian marble sculpture. Inspired by the Renaissance, Baroque, and Neoclassical periods, the collection is an ode to the famous artists who hand-carved sculptures directly from solid blocks of marble.

Following the ancient craft of stone carving, the collection features geometric forms sculpted from single, solid blocks of Bianco del Re marble. The Palace collection includes a washbasin and a freestanding bathtub, both defined by three-dimensional embossed texture.

Each of them is handcrafted with a chisel and finely engraved to achieve a sculptural look. The design follows the approach the designer had previously used in Mercy and Dawn collections. These items are distinguished by artistic leaf patterns that create a nature-inspired look.

The pattern is spread across the outer surface, resulting in vertical carved lines that create a gentle sense of movement. These carved shapes look like interlocking fans or leaves, with smooth bands at the top and bottom, completing the design concept. This decorative style is applied to both the freestanding cylindrical washbasin and the bathtub with a flared oval shape.

“With Palace, the triptych is complete,” explains Christophe Pillet, who continues: “The exploration and celebration of Kreoo’s manufacturing heritage and Italian culture takes various forms throughout the creative process, sometimes figurative, sometimes geometric. Palace is both: a refined, unique creation that goes far beyond the specific function for which it was designed.”

Designed for large-scale residential and hospitality projects, the Palace collection becomes a work of art within its setting. It draws attention through its artisanal craftsmanship, tactile softness, and refined embossed texture.
