Pets, in recent years have gained their own space in the mind of designers and furniture industries. Keeping same in mind, Thailand-based design house Deesawat has created a PET sofa, which is a movable unit that can easily accommodate both humans and animals.
Featuring a seating area for human and a small compartment for pet, the entire structure is made from teakwood. To offer freedom and flexibility, the mobile pet unit can be easily placed and fixed in any corner of the sofa. Thus, giving your furry companion his/her own personal space.
Designed for both indoor and outdoor purpose, the PET measuring 194 x 98 x 200 cm is covered with durable fabric and seating cushion. Made compatible for both cats and small dogs, the animal compartments features a circular opening for pets to enjoy the outside world, while the top acts as table to place books, drinks and phones.
According to Project Manager, pets are considered part of the family but not in regards to furniture design, so we have decided to design a space for humans and animals they can share. Offering freedom and flexibility the PET is an ideal indoor/outdoor furniture that give users and owners ca chance to enjoy evening with their pets.
