French designer Philippe Starck, famous for both his interior design and creating strange household things, has collaborated with tableware manufacturer Degrenne to redesign L’Econome, the iconic peeler that dates back to 1923. The collaboration strives to reinvent the iconic Econome peeler, which further inspired to create a complete range of cutlery products featuring the same uniquely-sculpted handle, making them different from others available in the market. All kitchen tools in this collection feature the same handle, making them distinct from others options available in the market.

The Econome peeler has always been same since its birth, but this year, Degrenne has commissioned Starck to add some contemporary twist to its vintage design. Taking inspiration from its shape, Starck has also developed L’E Starck, a range of tableware products. It is available in three materials: opaque plastic, composite and stainless steel along with a wide choice of colors to match different interiors.
