Indigo River Tiny Homes, an astute builder crafted this charming tiny house just the way she envisioned it to be. The owner named the house aptly after her pet prairie dogs. She wanted the builder to curate a special place for them inside the house and he rightly did so.
The tiny house measures 24ft and sits on a double-axle trailer. It is built using lightweight construction and heavy-duty fiberglass SIPs. An interesting feature of the house is it makes space for a gable roof with a pop-up dormer.
The exterior is colorful and has several eyebrow arched structure that makes it more appealing. Traps, calves and porthole windows are specially put on the door and surface as the owner wanted the house to have a modern rustic look.
Custom exotic woods attractively do Prairie Dog Tiny House’s interior throughout the entire home. Upon entering, you are welcomed by an apartment-size kitchen. It is central to the main floor and comes with basic appliances. Many cabinets adorning the unique mosaic look for storage purposes are well fit in here. A reasonably sized kitchen countertop, single burner cooktop and a fridge are set within this space.
You can see pieces of exotic cedar wood in the house marking different parts of the house such as the ceiling light base and the handrail. Adjacent to it is a fully functional bathroom with a vanity, sink, claw foot soaking bathtub and flush toilet.

Snuggled right toward the rear end of the house is the bedroom with many surprises. It has a Murphy bed with the same exotic wooden pattern running across and can accommodate a full-size mattress. The bedroom has a wardrobe and is brightly lit with a big arched window.
Special efforts are put behind the loft area which can be accessed via storage integrated stairs. It is a standard loft and is well-lighted with walls covered in plastic for extra safety for the owner’s Prairie dogs.
