We talk of higher human attributes towards our fellow human beings, but become reluctant the moment we have to deal with issues regarding animals. Artist Antoine Tes-Ted in collaboration with design store Hu2 has come up to the rescue of such unfortunate animals. Antoine suggested the world a sensitive alternative to minimize the number of wildlife killings with their unique 3D sculptural wall art of various animals.

The collaboration launched a series of these sculptures called as ‘Respectful Animal Trophies’ as an artistic alternative to substitute dead animals hung on the walls of our home. The series include animals like elephants, rhino, moose and many more that will seemingly match with our home décor; without making us feel remorseful.

One-line drawing using just a pencil or a black marker

Tes-Ted sketched one-line drawing of wild animals on wood using just a pencil or a black marker. This line guided the laser cutter to cut out the shapes of various animals from wood. The wood was then hand-finished, stained and treated with a protective natural oil.

These aesthetic sculptures of wild animals can be places in your living room, Kitchen area, dining rooms, bed room and any other place you can think of in your apartment, and believe me they will look more appealing than the real ones you had earlier. All effigies featured in this series are made by using eco-friendly materials and are locally produced.

Respectful Animal Trophies are up for sale and available on design store Hu2, so if you want to purge yourself of having dead animals as decorative so far, now is the time to wash your hands off it. Plus to make you feel better, 10 percent from each sale in the collection will go towards the Born Free Foundation in support of wildlife conservation.

We are not the masters of the planet earth that Good God gave us, as animals are also dear to Him. And even they deserve to live and thrive on it as much as we do. “If you are being cruel to them you are being cruel to God”. Pretty intense you might say, but it’s a fact no doubt.
