SaltSaun NW has introduced a portable sauna trailer that you can take anywhere you want. You can place it in your backyard, and when you need to go outdoors, you can simply tow it behind your vehicle. The inspiration behind the SaltSaun NW sauna trailer is the covered wagons that used to be pretty popular in Oregon state.

The sauna trailer is equipped with Himalayan salt-lined cedar wood and has an option of an electric or wood stove so you can enjoy using it on or off the grid. It is not the first time that someone has created a portable sauna, but the SaltSaun NW sauna trailer has a unique curvy design. It has been created by the same team that has designed some amazing teardrop trailers for Bend Teardrop.

The sauna trailer by SaltSaun NW features 13 inches of ground clearance. The exterior is crafted from local wood. It has a big checker plate panel on the front and features an aluminum panel below the structure. It also has a corrugated metal roof. Together all these integrations help protect the wooden body during bad weather.

The interior of the SaltSaun NW sauna trailer comprises benches enough to seat four to five persons. It comes with options of wood stove or electric that helps keep the temperature around 100 and 200 °F. The electric model features a 3kW heater that plugs into a 110V outlet.

The model with wood stove is specially designed keeping in mind the needs of off-grid travel and it has a rock basket for steaming along with a 100-watt solar panel that also powers the lighting of the sauna trailer.

The weight of the trailer is between 1,100 and 1,660 lb making it easy to tow using various types of vehicles. The trailer has a starting price of $10,000 and can also be rented at $200 per day.
