The sChaise is an innovative chair designed by French designer Stephanie Marine of Smarin Design Studio that embodies the concept of reboundability. Designed as a radical alternative to traditional seats, it is a flat-pack chair mainly composed of steel frame and elastic fabric straps. It meets the criteria of ergonomics and has a seat that allows rebounding to provide constant natural comfort.

The sChaise chair prevents a static sitting position and provides new dynamic functions and personal development – thanks to its trampoline effect. It is adaptable to all body shapes – you just sit on it at any angle and the seat takes the shape by itself.

The sChaise’s bouncing seat creates muscular contractions that maintain the resistance and tonicity of gluteal deltoid which is fundamental for a good posture. According to the creator, it gives a healthy posture, increases tonicity, and stimulates better blood circulation. This chair is also conceived as a therapeutic mechanical tool.
