Sharp proudly proclaims its AQUOS XLED technology as “a new standard in TV brightness and expression”, which you’ll surely want to explore further during CES 2024. This time, the company is exhibiting its latest AQUOS XLED FV1 Series made for the global market. First launched in Japan in December 2021, these TVs are touted to be brighter than conventional LCD TVs while offering great contrast in comparison to OLED TVs.

The TVs use Xtreme mini LED technology, which controls the dark and light by dividing mini LEDs into more than 2,000 independently controlled backlight dimming zones. It also adopts Deep Chroma QD technology, which uses quantum dot technology to convert the wavelength of the backlight to enable highly pure generation of the three primary colors (red, green, blue), achieving superb brightness and contrast and a wide color gamut.

As claimed by the manufacturer, the AQUOS XLED stands out as the latest display that seamlessly blends the features of LCD and OLED TVs. In addition to utilizing mini-LED backlight and quantum-dot rich-color display technology, the TV features a good quality audio system. There are speakers above and below the screen to create an immersive sound field that provides the viewer with a vividly realistic experience like you’re right in the middle of the action.

There are not many specifications available for the TV at the moment, so you’ll have to wait until the event for more details.

Sharp will also be exhibiting an indoor photovoltaic device LC-LH that utilizes indoor light for more efficient power generation. A battery-free TV Remote Control featuring the LC-LH device will be demonstrated at the event.
