Hungary-based designer Simon Forgacs has a deep fascination for TV test patterns since his childhood. So taking into account their strange and colorful appearance on TV, he has designed Mono lamp that beautifully symbolizes the extensive history of television in a unique way. The designer lamp is finalized in Italy, and it is available in classic or grayscale version. It is an illuminated plastic sphere that is attached to a wooden base with aluminum support.

He has continuously worked for a year to finalize the prototype, build partnerships and made an appropriate balance between production quality, cost and scalability. And the outcome is a great tabletop lamp that can be used for setting up a warm environment in any space. It also comes with a standard light bulb that can be easily replaced.

Mono lamp is great lighting accessory to feel nostalgic and remember analog TVs, while comfortably sitting at homes. This modern lighting looks pretty cool whether you use it as study room lighting or brighten up the dining area for flattering your guests. If you want this table top lighting, then back its crowd-funding campaign for a minimum of $111.24 at Indiegogo.
