The crafting materials required are too basic and easily available in your house. So there’s no stress about what to buy and where. Use this spooky spider garland as Halloween décor for your fireplace or windows. And when needed, you can also use it to clean your straws. So let’s get started.

Materials needed:

  • Black straw cleaners/chenille stems (you’ll need 4 per spider)
  • Baker’s twine or string (use black and white baker’s twine for a Halloween touch)
  • Darning needle

Instructions for spider garland pipe cleaner:

  • Take four pipe cleaners, stack them up, and bend them in half
  • Bend the top of the folded straw cleaners by an inch and twist them together. This forms the body of your spider
  • Separate the legs from the spider and bend them according to your wish
  • Thread your darning needle with twine or string the length you want for your garland. Push the needle through the spider’s body. Continue to string the spiders onto the garland. Slide them around to space them out easily
