After persistently covering tiny houses for three long years, what do I say about these micro dwellings? They come in various shapes and sizes, colors, and finishes, and often leave me surprised with their jaw-dropping interior. That said, the Starling tiny house by Rewild Homes, not only left me flabbergasted but made me wonder that the possibilities with tiny house design are to anyone’s imagination.

Measuring 33 feet long, the gooseneck-style tiny home is designed for a growing family. It is built on a triple-axle trailer and comes finished with a wooden exterior. Akin to other Rewild Homes models, the tiny house’s secret lies in its interior. The tiny house features a living room, loft bedroom, bathroom, and kitchen.

Where Rewild Homes excels from other manufacturers is its clever use of space. An example of this testament is the living room of the house which features a convertible seating and dining area with a ton of storage underneath. When fully opened, the seating transforms into a bedroom and sleeps a couple with ease.

Adjacent is the U-shaped kitchen of the home. It features a countertop, cabinets, bar seating, sink, and several appliances ranging from a 24-inch range oven to a high-efficiency fridge with a bottom freezer. Not to mention, a myriad of windows that floods the interior with natural light.

A loft bedroom lies above the kitchen. Accessed via stairs, the bedroom sleeps two comfortably and even has a built-in closet to store clothes and other essentials. Another striking aspect of the tiny house, and bedroom in particular is the custom aluminum art piece railing that has been manufactured by local Vancouver Island artist Wroughtenart.

The tiny house also features another room that can either be used as a second bedroom or a secondary living room. Located on the opposite end of the kitchen, the room features a chair and a side table. “There’s plenty of space for a kid’s room, an office, a studio, or whatever else your family needs some extra space for,” mentions the company.

Elsewhere, we have the bathroom of the tiny home. Rewild Homes might not put as much practicality and technicality into designing bedrooms but ensure to accouter the bathroom with gorgeous features. In the case of the Starling tiny house, it is the bathtub, composting toilet, a combo washer/dryer that add flair to the micro dwelling.
