Overland Expo SoCal starts tomorrow, but the internet is already flooded with a gaggle of press releases about the event. The most significant news, however, came from Alabama-based company Storyteller Overland, which unveiled one of its most anticipated turnkey builds of the year. Dubbed Grand Bohemian, the $200,000 turnkey micro camper is built on the INEOS Grenadier SUV platform.

First reported by Gear Junkie, the Grand Bohemian pairs the Grenadier’s body-on-frame construction, solid axles, triple-locking differentials with a complete, camp-ready interior. The key USP of Grand Bohemian is the “Alu-Cab Silenus pop-top conversion,” which adds a sleeping loft and standing room inside the vehicle, fundamentally changing what a five-door SUV can do after dark on a dirt road. This is complemented by a 270-degree shadow awning for an expanded outdoor living space.

Inside, the rear seats have been replaced by a full galley and lounge that features an induction cooktop, 12V fridge and freezer, a sink, fold-down tables, and an L-shaped leather bench that doubles as a lower sleeping platform. “The interior is thoughtfully crafted with refined materials and warm textures, designed for slow mornings, long conversations, and unhurried evenings,” the company states in its press release.

Helping adventurers in their off-grid pursuits is a power system that runs 5,400Wh of Lithionics batteries fed by 400W of rooftop solar, a 30A shore power hookup, and the alternator, backed by a 2,000W inverter and six USB ports. Other features include a gas-fired hydronic system that handles both heat and hot water and a composting toilet.

Off the pavement, the Grand Bohemian comes equipped with the EVICTUS Prerunner suspension, which, as per the makers, “offers enhanced control and durability, riding on Torque Enduro wheels wrapped in BFGoodrich off-road tires.” Other notable inclusions are a winch, fender armor, grille guard, auxiliary lighting, and an ARB twin air compressor.

The entire rig is powered by a BMW 3.0L engine paired with a refined 8-speed ZF automatic transmission, delivering confident performance on and off the pavement. Grand Bohemian will be showcased at Overland Expo So-Cal alongside the Terra 700 camper and multiple other rigs.
